Two Mile Ash v Water Eaton Whites,8/5/10.
Great win for the Whites. The match started with some early pressure from TMA but we handled it well.We started to have more of the ball which resulted in a couple of early shots from Kira and Harry.TMA had a chance but Tyler who was in goal made a good save to keep it 0-0.Late in the first quarter we went ahead with a goal from Luke 0-1.We deserved our lead going in to the second quarter. The second started of with us on the attack,we got an early corner from which Harry nearly scored our second, but it didn't take long for him to get it he scored with a good shot 0-2.We were playing really well,Kira nearly made it three but hit the post. When TMA did attack Brad Tyler and the ever improving Fin dealed with them with ease.Kira had another shot which went just wide then Brad came out of defence to score a Bergkamp like lob to make it 0-3!!!!.Thats how the first half finished. The third quarter,TMA were on top,Tyler made two good saves and Kira made a great defensive header and Brad made a good clearence to keep it 0-3.The third looked to be finishing without a goal but TMA pulled one back with seconds remaining 1-3.The forth quarter got off to a flying start with Kira making it 4-1 with a long shot.TMA then starting to have a lot of the ball managed to pull a couple of goals back to make it 3-4.Tyler made a great save from a free kick and Brad and Fin were as ever playing really well in defence. We held on to win 3-4 which didn't tell the whole story as we were much the better side.Well done Everybody you all played really well.Fin and Tyler shared the man of the match award.

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
